How to right click on a lenovo laptop

You won't get the improved tracking of the precision drivers, but you won't have to deal with the quirks that come with the workaround method, either. For example, if you have Elan or Synaptic drivers installed, you should be able to head to Settings > Devices > Mouse > Additional Mouse Options and find a separate tab with tweakable multi-finger gestures (depending on your laptop). It won't work on every machine, and it's definitely not officially supported, but since precision touchpads have better accuracy and scrolling than their older rivals-in addition to the multi-touch gestures mentioned above-it may be worth a shot if you have nerves of steel (and a USB mouse to reverse the process in case anything goes wrong).Īlternatively, you may still be able to do some customization through the drivers that come with your non-precision touchpad. There is a slightly hack-y workaround that involves installing some Lenovo drivers on your non-Lenovo laptop, making its Synaptics and Elan touchpads work as precision touchpads. Unfortunately, if you don't have a precision touchpad, you won't see these options in Windows 10's settings.
